Once we arrived in Germany and got settled by dropping our stuff off we visited Marienplatz, which is a central square in the city centre of Munich with lot of shopping, places to eat and beer gardens to have a drink, and a lively marketplace. A massive tourist attraction is the Rathaus-Glockenspiel. The clock has a show every day at 11 a.m. and noon where tons of people gather to hear the Glockenspiel chime and watch life-sized figures dance and spin reenacting historical Bavarian events.
