We moved to New York in November of 2016. Four years have nearly flown by, and the more time we spend here, the more we fall in love with the city, the people, the places, things to do, and the food. There’s always something going on it’s clear why it’s been called the city that never sleeps. The Empire State building was one of the first iconic buildings in the city that we just had to see.
Here are a few cool facts we’ve learned about it over our time here:
The building took just over a year to build, with over 3,000+ men working on the building every day
The top most tower was originally designed to doc airships
4 million people annually visit the building’s observation decks
